The following is a list of prohibited or restricted materials that would require a washout certificate before hauling wheat or bran either to or from North Dakota Mill. This list is not all inclusive but is a set of categories of materials.
Fertilizers of any type or category
Chemicals (herbicides, non-food contact chemicals of any type)
Feed ingredients (they contain toxins and other molds)
Any materials associate with meat, bone, viscera, skin, feathers or blood, these are consider Restricted Use Protein Products under USDA
Any powders, granules that are not human food
Allergens that are not wheat (farm grains, such as soybeans, can be hauled without a wash certificate) but the hauler must clean the trailer and by signing the contract they have confirmed that they cleaned the trailer before loading wheat. Soybeans would not require a wash certification as the wheat cleaning equipment can generally separate soybeans from wheat.
